Raw Honey and Soy Glazed Salmon

Raw Honey and soy Glazed Salmon

Salmon is healthy and versatile, and easy to cook. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, and decrease risk factors for diseases. It is also a great source of protein, potassium, and selenium, a mineral that protects bone health, improves thyroid function, and reduces the risk of cancer. This oven baked recipe takes a bit of prep work, but once you taste the result, you won’t regret it. It’s simply delicious! The foil locks in moisture and ensures that your beautiful piece of salmon turns out flaky, moist, and tender.

Ingredients:

450gr salmon fillet

1 tablespoon olive oil

80ml soy sauce

1 tablespoon ginger infused raw honey

half teaspoon paprika powder

3 cloves minced garlic

Preparation:

Cut the salmon into 4 pieces. Combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, paprika powder, and garlic in a small bowl. Mix well. Place the salmon fillets, skin side down, onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Coat the salmon with the marinade and leave it sit for 10 minutes before putting it in the oven. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 185°C. Cover the tray with aluminium foil and bake the salmon in the oven for 20 minutes . Remove the foil and bake for further 10 minutes.

Serve with rice and/or steamed vegetables. Season with sesame seeds.
