The Perfect Raw Honey Granola
This is my all times favourite, yummy - crunchy - nutty and deliciously sweet breakfast treat. Super easy to make, here is the list of ingredients:
- 750g rolled oats
- 100g sunflower seeds
- 100g pumpkin seeds
- 50g pecans, roughly chopped
- 50g walnuts, roughly chopped
- 50g macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
- 50g hazelnuts, roughly chopped
- 50g flaked almond
- 50g flaked coconut
- 150g raisins
- 250g raw sunflower honey
- 2tbs raw coconut oil
Preheat oven to 170 C°
Mix all ingredients except raisins and pour mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, turning every 10 minutes to get an even colour, or until the mixture is crunchy and golden brown. Remove from oven, add raisins and mix well. Store the cooled granola in an airtight container.
Granola is very adaptable to substitutions so mix and match your nuts and dried fruits to your liking.
I enjoy mine with some organic Greek yoghurt, fresh berries and a tablespoon of raw honey.
